Artist's Description

Caroline created this portrait of Nigel, a Canine Companions for Independence service dog puppy in training. Nigel is a star in the Washington, DC, area, thanks to his bouncy personality and his day job at News Channel WUSA9, where his volunteer puppy raiser, Andrea McCarren, is an Investigative Reporter. Team Nigel recently held a very successful event at the National Press Club to educate people about CCI, to have fun and to raise mon ey for Canine Companions Veterans program.
Caroline will donate 100 per cent of profits from sales of Nigel items from this website to Canine Companions.
Founded in 1975, Canine Companions for Independence® is a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of people with disabilities by providing highly trained assistance dogs and ongoing support to ensure quality partnerships.
